Lion - Nebuchadnezzar II (604 - 562 BC) This fragment is very known in Babylon, this wall painting leads to the temple of Marduk to the temple of Akitu, passing through the gate of Ishtar. This 'Lion' represents the main quality of this Goddess. The Processional Route was partly reconstructed and can be seen in the Vorderasiatique Museum of Berin.
